1. Who we are

ApnaTrack is a GPS vehicle and fleet tracking service operated by APNA INFOTECH, Nokha, Bikaner, Rajasthan, India (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information we collect when you use ApnaTrack, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

2. Information we collect

• Account information — name, mobile number, email address, company or school name, and login details for the people you add as users.
• Vehicle and device information — vehicle name or registration number, device model, IMEI/device ID and SIM details needed to connect the device.
• Location and vehicle data — GPS position, speed, direction, time, ignition on/off, main power and battery status, SOS/panic events and, where a fuel sensor is fitted, fuel level readings. This data is sent by the tracking device, not by your phone.
• Enquiry information — when you fill the demo form on apnatrack.in: name, mobile number, city, number of vehicles, your area of interest and your message.
• Technical information — IP address, browser type and basic logs, used to keep the service secure and working.

3. How we use it

• To show your vehicles on the live map, play back history, calculate trips, stoppages, daily summaries and fuel events.
• To send the alerts you have set up (overspeed, SOS, power cut, device offline, ignition, geofence and similar).
• To create reports and CSV exports you request.
• To provide support, respond to enquiries and contact you about your account or a demo you asked for.
• To keep the service secure, prevent misuse and fix problems.

We do not use your location data for advertising, and we do not build profiles to sell to anyone.

4. How long we keep data

• Raw position data (every GPS point) is kept for about 6 months. After that it is removed and only daily summaries (such as kilometres, running/idle time and maximum speed) are kept.
• Account, vehicle and summary data is kept while your account is active and deleted after the account is closed, except where we must keep certain records (for example, invoices) by law.
• Backups are taken daily and are overwritten on a rolling basis, so deleted data disappears from backups after the backup cycle.
• Enquiries from the website are kept only as long as needed to follow up with you.

5. Where data is stored and how it is protected

Your data is stored on servers located in India. We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, separate logins for each user, and daily backups. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and will inform affected customers if we become aware of a breach that affects them, as required by law.

6. Who can see your data

• You and the users you add to your account.
• Your reseller / partner, if your ApnaTrack account was set up and is managed by an ApnaTrack partner. The partner can see the vehicles and data of the customers they manage.
• Service providers who help us run ApnaTrack (for example hosting and messaging providers), only as needed to provide the service and under confidentiality.
• Authorities, only when we are legally required to share information.

We never sell your data. If you connect an AIS-140 device, its reporting to the government VLTS continues directly from the device; ApnaTrack does not change or forward that reporting.

7. Tracking people responsibly

ApnaTrack tracks vehicles. If drivers, staff or students travel in those vehicles, the account owner (for example the fleet owner or school) is responsible for informing them as required by law and for using the data only for legitimate purposes such as safety and operations.

8. Your choices and rights

• You can view your vehicle data in the app and download reports as CSV at any time.
• You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete your account and its data by writing to info@apnainfotech.com or calling +91 95297 21111. We will confirm your identity and complete the request within a reasonable time.
• You can withdraw consent for optional communication at any time.

We handle personal data in line with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

9. Cookies and browser storage

This website stores only your language choice (English or Hindi) in your browser. It does not use advertising or tracking cookies. The ApnaTrack web app uses storage that is necessary to keep you logged in.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page with its effective date. If a change is significant, we will inform account holders before it takes effect.
